The La Vierge (French for “The Virgin”) wine estate is nestled in the folds of the breathtaking Hemel-en-Aarde Valley (Heaven on Earth) just outside Hermanus. They make a range of wines but their specialty is Pinot Noir. The La Vierge vineyards are situated on Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge where the long cool summers and the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean provide the ideal environment for cultivating vines.
