2023 Pinot Noir
Subtle and focused expression of Pinot Noir. Perfumed dark fruit aromatics with hints of spice. Soft balanced tannin structure with fresh grip on the palate.
2023 Pinot Noir production was fairly generous in yield as we had an increase of 8,95% on the long term average. The season had an average rainfall of 788mm. With 43% (341mm) falling throughout the wet growing season. The wet growing season brought with it some challenges and a two-week heat wave speeded up the ripening process in January. But all in all, it produced wines with broader shoulders and slightly more expressive aromatics.
